Doherty & Associates is searching for the perfect candidate that is looking to make a difference. If you are someone that wants to be a major part of a growing firm where you can make a difference managing a small team of accountants for accounting and tax preparation you have found the perfect company to work for!

Requirements: licensed CPA with a minimum of 5 yrs experience in servicing small to mid size corporate clients. Candidate must have previous management experience in this field. Software requirements, Ultra Tax, Microsoft Office Products and QuickBooks. Must have experience in computer network systems, electronic file storage and electronic processing.  Must be reliable, dependable and work well with others.

  • Sorting and reviewing mail
  • Organizing files and paperwork. Maintaining organizational systems for easy information retrieval
  • Prepare financial records for use in tax returns or estate planning
  • Preparation of cash flow, investment and activity reports
  • Troubleshooting account discrepancies with banking & credit institutions
  • Preparation of computer records to track your spending and to assist in the filing of income tax returns
